Hi, I'm Nika (she / her)

I am a specialist in the treatment of Problematic Sexual Behavior (aka “sex addiction”). I am also a Couples and Sex Therapist who works with couples who are having difficulties in their relationship or sex lives. 

My treatment approach is informed by the model of Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT/EFIT), which has an attachment emphasis. My work with Problematic Sexual Behavior utilizes a Sexual Health approach. I also integrate Internal Family Systems theory (IFS) and psychodynamic principles in my work with clients.

I am a sex-positive and pleasure affirming therapist. My approach to therapy is strength-based. I view my clients and their concerns though a sovereignty affirming holistic lens, holding their integrity and worth in the highest regard. 

I am committed to providing compassionate and judgment-free care to those seeking change.

Supervision and Consultation

I am an approved supervisor for Washington state under LICSW licensure. My approach to supervision is rooted in developmental and relational principles.

To me supervision is a mutual process, where power and responsibility are shared between the supervisor and supervisees. I strive to create a space where clinicians feel safe and supported to grow, where they feel held and seen in their humanity as well as their professionalism.

  • I provide supervision to clinical interns at the Healing Moments Counseling
  • I provide supervision to associate level clinicians (SWs, MFTs, MHCs) – openings in November 2022
  • I provide consultation to fully licensed clinicians

  • $200 for an individual/couple 50-minute session
  • $300 for an 80-minute session
