I believe that therapy is a collaborative process and that the client is the expert of their own life, with an innate need to be seen and understood. I aim to provide a non-judgmental space that encourages exploration of self and relationships, by examining attachment (in)securities, internalized oppression, and family of origin narratives. I help clients get unstuck from their problematic patterns. I am compassionate and help my clients to live their most authentic lives. My orientation is strength-based, and I believe that healing happens in the presence of others.
For therapy to be most effective, a therapeutic fit is critical. I offer a free 15-minute consultation to learn about your needs and share a bit more about myself. I look forward to hearing from you.
Fun Facts: Aside from spending time with family and friends, my favorite pastimes include cooking, traveling, and being in nature. Outside of the therapy room, you will often find me flipping through cookbooks or searching the internet for new dishes to make. I also have a bit of wanderlust and enjoy traveling near and far. I find that we can learn so much about ourselves by immersing ourselves in different cultures and experiences.
