Meet Hanna Emerson
Hi, I'm Hanna
(she/her)
I use a relational approach to therapy and support clients in their process of self-discovery, healing, and connection. I incorporate Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Internal Family Systems (IFS), attachment theory, and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) to help you cultivate a secure base in your relationships and within yourself.
Our work together will focus on exploring thoughts, emotions, patterns, memories, and limiting beliefs that may be interfering with living the life you want. My goal is to walk with you as we dismantle and heal these beliefs together, so you can experience life in a more fulfilling way.
I work with teens, individuals, couples, polycules, and families.
Teens—your voice is heard and valued in therapy with me. Whether it’s social anxiety, family stress, feeling under pressure at school, or exploring different parts of your identity, I’m here to support you. Laughing, crying, and venting are all welcome here. 🙂
As your therapist, I am collaborative, caring, and trauma-informed. My practice is LGBTQIA+, kink, and poly affirmative, incorporates a social justice perspective, and encourages you to show up as your full self.
Fun Facts: In my free time, I enjoy chiming in on new movie/show discourse, dabble in running, and spend lots of time with my two orange cats, Henry and Bernie, who make appearances in sessions every now and then!

Kim brings a listening ear and so much wisdom as she counsels. You can dump your stuff and she’s not phased by it. She’s a great partner in the healing process. We could all use another counseling session with Kim!
