Meet Natalie Wood
Hi, I'm Natalie
(she/her)
I am a relational and individual therapist utilizing Emotion Focused Therapy, Internal Family Systems, and Narrative Therapy to help clients understand their stories, history of trauma, and how we make meaning. I have a certificate in Sex Therapy and strive to create an environment where sex and pleasure are safe to explore.
As a systems thinker, I believe we all exist in context to the relationships around us. Our relationships to self, loved ones, community, and culture all change as we process new information. I believe therapy is a co-created space tailored to the goals of the client. I work with clients grappling with how varying aspects of trauma informs identity and impacts the lived experience of self. My clients tend to have come from an experience of new-to-them disability, gender identity, sexuality, or trauma that has altered their conceptualization of identity. If you’re this client, you might be nervous to ask the question “who am I now?” because the answer feels too ambiguous and uncertain. My goal is to create a space where you can explore this experience and guide you in identifying a pathway forward through reflection, curiosity, and a little humor.
I am a Caucasian, cisgender, queer, spiritual but non-religious, and able-bodied female. I am a neurodiversity, LGBTQIA2S+, and disability affirming therapist. I work with individuals, couples, and poly relationships. I welcome people of all identities, ages, neurodivergence, relationship structures, races, genders, abilities, sizes, and sexualities.
Fun Facts:
I grew up in small-town California, have family in North Texas, and have lived in Seattle for 15 years. When not in the therapy space, you can find me cracking jokes with my Boston Terrier, Dottie, or learning boundaries with my cat, Carla. I love eating delicious meals, baking, LEGOs, music, reality tv, road trips, and a good mind puzzle.

Kim brings a listening ear and so much wisdom as she counsels. You can dump your stuff and she’s not phased by it. She’s a great partner in the healing process. We could all use another counseling session with Kim!
